About the Role

XFactr™.AI is looking for a skilled Windchill Administrator to support and manage PLM systems for enterprise-scale engineering environments. The role involves administering, configuring, and maintaining the Windchill platform to ensure seamless product lifecycle management and collaboration across engineering teams.

Note: This role is for our global enterprise client in the energy management and industrial automation domain.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain the PTC Windchill PLM system to ensure stability and optimal performance. Manage user roles, access controls, and system configurations within the Windchill environment. Support engineering teams with product data management, version control, and workflow processes. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Windchill applications and integrations. Configure and maintain workflows, lifecycle states, and change management processes. Coordinate with IT teams, developers, and business users for system enhancements and upgrades. Perform regular system maintenance, backups, and patch management. Document system configurations, processes, and support procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a Windchill Administrator or PLM Administrator. Strong knowledge of PTC Windchill PLM platform administration and configuration. Experience with user management, workflows, and lifecycle management in Windchill. Familiarity with database concepts, system monitoring, and server administration. Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) processes. Experience working in enterprise engineering environments.

Good to Have

Experience with Windchill upgrades, customizations, or integrations. Knowledge of Java, scripting, or system automation tools. Familiarity with CAD integrations such as Creo or other engineering tools. Exposure to DevOps or cloud-based infrastructure environments.
