Test Automation Engineer
(Playwright + Python)

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team at Schneider Electric – Whitefield, Bengaluru.

Role Highlights

• Design and develop automation frameworks using Playwright with Python
• Automate end-to-end web applications across multiple browsers
• Develop and execute REST API automation tests
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
• Validate API responses, status codes, headers, and JSON payloads
• Handle complex JSON parsing and validation using Python
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery

🔹 Required Skills
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Python
• Solid knowledge of REST API testing
• Experience with JSON handling and validation using Python
• Familiarity with Git and SDLC/STLC processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
