About the Role

XFactr™.AI is looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications.

Note: This role is for our global enterprise client in the energy management and industrial automation domain.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and enterprise applications.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing using automation tools.
Identify, document, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution.
Integrate automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
Improve test coverage and maintain high-quality standards across releases.
Participate in code reviews, test planning, and Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good to Have

Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.
Familiarity with DevOps practices.
